About Split Text
The reverse of joining: one line in, one line out per piece. Splitting a comma-separated value back into a column is the usual reason, and trimming is on by default because a, b, c would otherwise leave a leading space on every piece but the first.
The separator is a literal string, not a pattern, so a comma, a semicolon, a pipe or a whole word all work the same way.
